Congratulations to Allison Meister, this years recipient of the Wendell J. Gallant Memorial Scholarship!
This scholarship was established by the family of Wendell J. Gallant who was President of our Chamber in 1989, with the stated intention “to enhance the future likelihood of young people contributing to the business community of the Greater Summerside area.” We would like to thank our 2018 judges: Brenda Cousins, Standard Aero; Belinda Woods, PEI Association for Newcomers to Canada, and Gerard Greenan.
Allison will be attending UNB in the fall for a Bachelor of Science in Forestry. Allison is the daughter of Ken and Jenny Meister, who own and operate Holman’s Ice Cream Parlour. Our congratulations to Allison and we wish all of our applicants a successful school year!
