Whether you’re competing for Best Score or Best Dressed, you’ll have a great time at our annual Golf Fun Day. This year, it’s on Friday June 3 (rain date June 10th) and we’ll be enjoying the snazzy new golf carts and white sand at the Summerside Golf Club.
Our best ball format ensures that the day works for competitive and occasional golfers. And a variety of sponsors–from Summerside Chrysler Dodge, who are hosting the Hole-In-One competition (wonder what the vehicle will be?) to MRSB on the putting green and regulars The Medicine Shoppe, Consolidated Credit Union, Cox & Palmer, City of Summerside and D. Alex MacDonald — will be doing their utmost to ensure you’re also entertained at every tee with snacks or activities.
This event is a major fundraiser for the Chamber and we thank Eastlink Business for returning once again as our corporate sponsor.
And this year, we have some additional incentive for wanting to make the day a big success: if we fill our 25 team slate, we’ll have a little profit left over to make a contribution to the Fort MacMurray Chamber to assist in their efforts to help the business community re-build.
